What Is M16 Connector ?
M16 connector is circular waterproof connector with 16mm thread, mostly widely used are M16 12 pin connector , M16 5 pin connector , M16 6 pin connector , M16 4 pin connector , and there are also 2 pin , 3 pin , 7 pin , 8 pin , 12 pin , 14 pin , 16 pin , 19 pin , 24 pin , A code 5 pin , 7 pin , 14 pin . The M16 cable connector comply with IEC 61076-2-106-2012 AISG Standard , CAZN AISG connectors have good outdoor protection performance and are suitable for antenna receivers in the field of wireless communication. M16 Connector parameters

Soldering is the most widely used and most economical wiring method for connectors. It is easy to operate and does not require complicated tools. It is suitable for contacts of different sizes. However, if the operator is not professional, the excessive temperature may cause potential damage to the connectors. In addition, the vibration resistance of the welding cable is worse than other connection methods, and after another period of time, due to the welding material, it may cause disconnection.
Crimping :
Crimping by crimping tool that uses pressure to connect the contacts to the wires. This connection method is safe and reliable, and is very suitable for harsh application environments.
The crimping method is simple and fast, forming an airtight seal between the connector and the cable, which is protected from moisture, sand, dust and oxidation. The crimping is easier to operate than welding, and the connection consistency is relatively high, which can reduce the connection failure rate.
But crimping tools are often more expensive, which indirectly increases the cost of crimping.
Screw connection :
The connection method of the screw does not require high professionalism of the operator. Under the condition of setting the strength, both the contact and the wire can be connected reliably and have very good anti-vibration performance.
Contact impedance : ≤5mΩ , Gold plating can reduce the contact resistance very well. Although the surface of the conductor looks smooth, under the observation of a magnifying glass, it can still be seen that there will be bumps and depressions on the surface of the conductor, which will lead to contact resistance,the lower contact impedance the higher connection performance.
Durability : 500 Cycles, Different types of connectors have different requirements for durability of connect and disconnect.
